Leprechauns Love Green

I love writing contests! This contest comes from author Vivian Kirkfield. The challenge was to write a story using only 50 words. Here is my attempt. Enjoy!

Leprechauns love green, but Lucy loves pink.

“Green is lucky,” said Mother.

“Pink is lovely,” said Lucy.

“Green is bold,” said Father.

“Pink is beautiful,” said Lucy.

“No more pink!” they yelled.

Lucy cried. A hug brought smile, a tickle a laugh. More tickles, more laughs until…everyone was tickled pink.
